Anna Van Hooft is a Canadian actor from Canada. She is best known for portraying the role of Princess Aura, in the TV version of Flash Gordon from 2007. Kostomarov was her co-partner in the year 2000, and they took home the bronze medal for Russia at the 2000 European Figure Skating Championships. Her birth date was 1st march 1980 in Moscow and was born to a family that included the Director and the economist Tatyana Dmitrievna. As a young girl was ill, she fell ill. She spent six months in hospital. The illness was later confirmed as Rheumatoid arthritis. The skater's career with Denis Samokhin was what made his name famous. They took part in the Junior World Championships in two different years, placing 8th in 1993 and 7th in 1994. After a brief collaboration with Maxim Kachanov, they placed fifth at the Goodwill Games of 1994. Later in 1995, she team up again alongside Vladimir Fedorov. Both were successful with the partnership, as they each won the Finlandia Trophy and participated in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. They achieved incredible results but it was their 15th place finish at the World Championships in 1998 that represented the peak of the friendship.
