Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who is on CNN as well as HLN's different platforms. In addition, she is the camera expert as well as co-executive producer for television specials on the DIY NETWORK known as THE LAST HOUSE STANDING which debuted on March 30, 2012. The first novel she wrote was EXTREME weather. It was released by Palgrave Macmillan January 31 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. She also covered lifestyle, entertainment and other issues as Special Assignment Reporter on a daily basis while working in Boston. Before joining WB56, she served as the weekend forecaster for WFOR-TV Miami. She's held a variety of reports and meteorology positions, including: News 12 Long Island which is a 24 hour broadcasting network for news and entertainment, as well as WXII-TV which is the NBC affiliate located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In addition, she was a regular substitute for The Saturday Early Show, she was meteorologist at CBS at New York City.
