Ayelet Zurer

Ayelet Zurer, one of Israel's most popular actresses, is a special lady. Her birthplace is in Tel Aviv, and first caught the attention of Hollywood when she was enlisted by Steven Spielberg in her first English-speaking role as Eric Bana's wife in the Oscar(r) nominated film Munich (2005). Zurer is an American actress who has appeared in Studio films, such as Sony Pictures' Vantage Point featuring Dennis Quaid (with William Hurt) Samuel Goldwyn's Fugitive pieces alongside Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader’s Adam Resurrected with Jeff Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons, opposite Tom Hanks, Darling Companion, an ensemble Lawrence Kasdan cast featuring Diane Keaton, Kevin Kline and Warner Bros. Man Of Steel in the role of Russell Crow. Ewan McGregor was her filming partner in Rodrigo Garcia's The Last Days in Desert. The actress also waited for The Last Knights to be released by Kazuaki Kriya, the Japanese director. As the Hostages leading actress, she was awarded the Gold Nymph Award at the 54th festival of television in Monte-Carlo. Ayelet has been awarded an Israeli Film And Television Academy Award in recognition of her performance in Nina's Tragedies. She was nominated for her performances in the movies Only Dogs Run Free (from the Holy Apple Field), Desperado, Rutenberg, and The Dybuk from Holy Apple Field. She was also honored with the Haifa International Film Festival critic's award, and a star in Haifa's "film Boulevard" for her regional and international achievements. Zurer was also awarded the Israeli Television Academy Award for her role in "In Treatment", an internationally acclaimed TV show, which was adapted for American TV by HBO. She was also nominated as an apt performance in 2014's most popular drama "Shtisel" as well as was awarded the most outstanding actress for drama for her performance as a brilliant surgeon in the dilemma of life and death in Hostages. The show was sold to BBC4 & Canal Plus and the American ABC. The "face " of one of Israel's most renowned women's clothing companies- Golbary. Ayelet is a producer as well as a writer. Ayelet has been working on a few of her own projects in Israel and in the US she has expressed her desire to work internationally with directors from all over the world she believes in joining with new directors and writers as well as established ones.
