Annie Wersching
Annie
Wersching was born March 28 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include
Renee Walker on the American TV show 24. Motion recording and voice work were
also done for Tess in Naughty Dog’s videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was
born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her degree in the year
1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. Wersching began her acting
career through her appearance as a guest on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, and
moved on to guest-starring roles in shows such as Charmed, Killer Instinct,
Supernatural and Cold Case. From March to November 2007 she played the
recurring role of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap show General Hospital.
She also appeared in theaters such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire,
and the Utah Shakespearean Festival During her young years, she was a
competitor in Irish dance and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers.
She has received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from
Millikin University, graduating in 1999. After her two seasons on 24, Wersching
appeared as a guest actor on a variety of shows such as CSI as well as NCIS,
Rizzoli & Iles, Hawaii Five-0. In 2014, she was an episode regular on
the debut season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching was the
National League's catcher in 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity
Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed Wersching played the voice
actor and mo-cap actor for Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us.
Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitterprior to her identity was
revealed by the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 December 7,
2012. Wersching was to play the character of the Borg Queen on Star Trek:
Picard in season 2.
